Gun Violence Awareness Summit

Join us on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in New Orleans, LA, for the Gun Violence Awareness Summit. Ball for Life has partnered with Rosenwald Recreation Center and Zleagues in a community-wide event. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about the critical issue of gun violence in our communities. We will have several local basketball leagues competing against each other, as well as free food, guest speakers, panel discussions, door prizes, and other activities. As we recognize and honor gun violence survivors, we want to talk about the root causes of the problem and potential solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for concerned citizens, activists, and policymakers to network and learn from one another. The location is Rosenwald Recreation Center, 1120 South Broad Street, New Orleans, LA 70125. We encourage everyone to attend and make their voices heard. We can make a difference and make communities safer for everyone if we work together.
