Event Details
Blake Bertuccelli-Booth and Luke Hawley, experts in technologically-created art, will co-host a workshop focusing on prompt engineering. Prompt engineering is a process of crafting effective inputs for AI models to generate desired outputs, making AI more accessible and useful for creative purposes.
Blake has over a decade of experience in the field, having launched Cinema Reset, an exhibition of New Media for the Contemporary Arts Center and New Orleans Film Festival, as well as Open Screen New Orleans, an “open mic” for filmmakers. He is also the founder of Decubing, a web development company that employs AI coding techniques, and New Media director for numerous productions like the upcoming film “Wonderwell” featuring Rita Ora.
Luke Hawley is an engineer and data scientist at IBM, where he has been working on various ways to use AI for artistic purposes. With their combined expertise, participants will engage in workshop-like creative sessions, exploring the creative potential of AI applications through prompt engineering techniques.
Please bring an internet-connected device to the workshops. No coding or advanced technical experience is required. The cost is $11 per session per attendee.
