The Black Men's Health Event

Join us for this important free public health event presented by Ochsner Health, Janssen Pharmaceutical, Congressman Troy A. Carter, Jr. and The Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club.

The health event will include blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and lung capacity screenings, prostate cancer education and Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) testing. Candid conversation session with Ochsner physicians and Janssen pharmacists will address colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, and peripheral artery disease – all healthcare issues common to Black men.

Healthcare professionals, fitness and nutritionist experts and special community guests, former New Orleans Police Chief Shaun Ferguson and NORD CEO Larry Barabino will discuss lived experiences and nutrition and exercise best practices.
